Police Officers Save the Life of a Brodnica Resident

On February 6, 2025, police officers from Brodnica undertook a heroic rescue mission that saved the life of a 54-year-old man. The intervention took place at 14:45 when the police dispatcher received a report from a woman about a dangerous situation occurring by a pond on Ceglana Street.

A patrol consisting of junior aspirant Dawid Lorek and chief sergeant Daniel Lewandowski was immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, the officers quickly located the reporter, who pointed out the man in need of help. The police observed that the man was standing in a pool of blood and was losing consciousness.

Thanks to the professionalism of the officers, the man received first aid—specialized dressings were applied, which helped to stop the bleeding. The officers immediately called for the Medical Rescue Team to transport the 54-year-old to the hospital.

This situation highlights the importance of vigilance and responding to the suffering of others. Thanks to the quick intervention and the actions of the woman, the man's life was saved.
