New Road Investments in the City

Recently, construction work has been completed on two streets: Wąska and Nowa. The reconstruction of Nowa Street aimed to improve the road infrastructure.

Scope of Work on Nowa Street

The scope of work included transforming a section of public road measuring 176.11 m. As part of this project, a new roadway made of asphalt concrete and a right-side pedestrian path paved with concrete blocks were constructed. Additionally, a stormwater drainage system was built.

Scope of Work on Wąska Street

For Wąska Street, the work involved the construction of a municipal road measuring 479.01 m. The new roadway was constructed from asphalt concrete, and the left-side pedestrian path was also paved with concrete blocks. Moreover, both sides of the roadway received earthen shoulders, and a single-lane roadway section with local widenings and stormwater drainage was completed.

Contractor and Project Costs

The construction work was carried out by the company Przedsiębiorstwo Drogowo – Budowlane sp. z o.o. The total cost of the investment amounted to 2,331,047.92 PLN, of which 1,398,628.00 PLN was funded by the Government Road Development Fund.

Postponement of the Piaski Street Renovation

It is also worth noting that the deadline for the renovation of Piaski Street has been postponed to December 21, 2024.
