Commemoration of the National Day of Remembrance for Soldiers of the Home Army

This year, for the first time, the residents of Poland will commemorate the National Day of Remembrance for Soldiers of the Home Army. The law establishing this holiday came into effect on February 11, with the observance taking place on February 14, marking the anniversary of the establishment of the Home Army by General Władysław Sikorski in 1942.

In connection with this event, representatives of the Brodnica City Hall laid flowers at the monument to the Home Army located on Sądowa Street. The flowers were also laid by the Mayor of Brodnica and local residents, paying tribute to the soldiers who fought for Poland's independence.
