Safe Internet Day (SID) is an important initiative aimed at educating students about safe internet usage. It is essential to remind ourselves of the importance of ensuring our safety in the virtual world.

Last week, as part of the Safe Internet Day celebrations, police officers from Brodnica visited Primary School No. 1. Meetings with children and teenagers not only provide an opportunity to discuss online safety but also serve as a way to raise awareness among young people about the consequences of sharing their image and personal information.

During their visit, the officers particularly highlighted the dangers that can arise from internet usage, such as hate speech and cyberbullying. They reminded students that every comment or photo shared online can remain there for a long time, potentially leading to serious consequences.
