Festive Events in Podgórze: Santa Claus Day and Pierogi Making

Joyful Santa Claus Day at the Village Community Center

On Saturday, December 6, 2025, the village community center in Podgórze resonated with laughter and joy during the annual Santa Claus Day. The event was attended by 25 children along with their parents. The program was full of creative workshops where the youngest ones could show their creativity by creating beautiful Christmas decorations. There were also sweet treats. A special guest was the Grinch, who provided a lot of emotions and laughter. The highlight was the arrival of Santa Claus with a bag full of gifts. At the end, the children lit sparklers, creating a magical atmosphere.

Festive Pierogi Making with KGW "Podgórzacy"

On the same day, at 5:00 PM, the Housewives Association "Podgórzacy" organized the traditional "Festive Pierogi Making" at the village community center. Together with the invited guests, the ladies from KGW prepared pierogi with three different fillings: cabbage and mushrooms, Russian pierogi, and cheese pierogi. After finishing the making, everyone sat down at the table, where freshly made pierogi, borscht, sauerkraut soup, croquettes, and many other delicacies awaited. The event was a great opportunity for local community integration.
