Budget for 2025 Approved

At the last session of the City Council in Brodnica, held in December 2024, the councilors unanimously approved the budget for the Municipality of Brodnica for the upcoming year 2025.

The budget for 2025 is a surplus budget, meaning that the expected revenues exceed the planned expenditures. The city's strong financial position was confirmed by the councilors, who voted for the resolution, achieving 20 votes in favor and only one against.

Main Budget Assumptions

  • Revenues: 210,431,341.00 PLN
  • Expenditures: 206,873,341.00 PLN
  • Surplus: 3,558,000.00 PLN

A significant portion of the budget is allocated for investments, which total 19,274,706.43 PLN, of which 11,533,349.31 PLN comes from external funds. Among the planned investments are:

  1. Reconstruction of the internal road from Circle station to Wiejska street
  2. Construction of a road with drainage on Tatarakowa and Spacerowa streets
  3. Continuation of the construction of a sports hall at the School and Preschool Complex No. 3 (Primary School No. 4 in Brodnica)
  4. Construction of a municipal nursery at Tatrzańska street under the MALUCH+ program 2022-2029

Civic Budget

As part of the civic budget, the following projects are planned:

  • Book Sharing at Gdynia Estate
  • Modernization of the Brodnica Scouts Alley in the Municipal Forest
  • Active pedestrian crossing on Ceglana street
  • Project "Heart for the residents of Brodnica"

Additional Plans for 2025

In the upcoming year, additional plans include:

  • Continuation of the modernization of the stands at the municipal stadium
  • Modernization of the playground at Władysław Jagiełło street
  • Lighting of the municipal stadium

In 2025, documentation will also be prepared for the reconstruction of several streets, including:

  • Sosnowa
  • Pienińska
  • Cicha
  • Establishing a pedestrian crossing at John Paul II street
  • Michałowska (section to Polna street)
  • Jan III Sobieski (single-family house estate)
  • Graniczna
  • Długa (from no. 36a to 36h)
  • Kamionka – reconstruction of the road and sidewalks (both sides)
  • Matejki
