Establishment of the Local Tourist Organization in Brodnica

On February 26, 2025, an important meeting took place at the Brodnica City Hall aimed at establishing the Local Tourist Organization (LOT). This initiative was organized by the Mayor of Brodnica following an expression of intent from a group of initiators.

The meeting also included the Brodnica starost and mayors from the entire Brodnica county, highlighting the significance of this initiative. Participants expressed their willingness to jointly create LOT and their readiness to participate in its operational costs. The strong support for this idea from various municipalities, including the City of Brodnica, brings hope for the development of tourism in the Brodnica Lake District.

As part of the further development of tourism in the region, the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Tourist Organization is preparing the Brand Strategy for the Brodnica Lake District, where LOT will be a key leader in promotional and organizational activities.

The Brodnica Lake District has significant tourist potential, and the establishment of LOT aims to integrate various entities, such as municipalities, tourism industry entrepreneurs, and non-governmental organizations. This cooperation will enable more effective promotion of the region, securing funding, and cataloging tourist offerings.

The joint efforts of the participants aim to build a strong tourist brand in the region and support local entrepreneurs and institutions related to tourism. The next step will be for municipalities to adopt resolutions regarding joining the Local Tourist Organization.
