Modern Education at the Brodnica Castle

Until the end of 2024, the Teutonic castle in Brodnica will be open for free visits as part of the project titled “Establishment of an Educational Path at the Teutonic Castle in Brodnica”.

Funding from the National Recovery Plan

This project has received funding of 64,000 PLN from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO) under Program A2.5.1, which aims to support the culture sector and creative industries.

Educational Path

Five educational boards have been installed at the castle, featuring infographics and interesting facts about this historical site. One board is dedicated to the local fauna and flora, which helps to better understand the history and environment surrounding the castle. Each board is equipped with a QR code that leads to additional online information, enabling quick and modern access to knowledge.

Digital Reconstruction

The castle's cellars also showcase a digital reconstruction, which using modern technology illustrates the original appearance of the fortress.

Innovative Approach to Education

The implementation of this project aims to enhance the digital attributes of the institution and modernize the way historical information about the castle is conveyed. The use of digital links allows easy access to historical knowledge from secure sources. The project is open to everyone, regardless of gender or age, and also enables people with disabilities to learn about the heritage's structure and appearance, as access is often limited due to its historical nature.
