Triumph of Young Female Footballers in Brodnica: The Starost's Cup Awarded!

On March 24, at the sports hall of the Center for Vocational and Continuing Education (CKZiU) in Brodnica, the VI Tournament for the Brodnica Starost's Cup in Indoor Football for Girls from Secondary Schools took place. This event, full of sporting emotions and fair play, gathered five talented teams from the region.

Participants and Official Opening

The following school teams participated in the tournament:

• I High School in Brodnica
• Center for Vocational and Continuing Education in Brodnica
• School Complex in Wąbrzeźno
• School Complex in Lidzbark Welski
• Agricultural School Complex in Grudziądz

The official opening was performed by Brodnica Starost Arkadiusz Orłowski, who wished all the players unforgettable experiences and competition in the spirit of fair play. Dorota Bibik, Head of the Department of Education, Culture and Sport of the Brodnica Poviat Starosty, also participated in the inauguration.

Dynamic Matches and Results

The competition was fierce, and the young female footballers demonstrated a high level of skill and determination. Ultimately, after a series of exciting matches, the results are as follows:

1. 1st place: School Complex in Lidzbark Welski – this team triumphed, winning three matches and securing the cup thanks to the best points and goal difference.
2. 2nd place: Center for Vocational and Continuing Education in Brodnica – the tournament hosts showed great form.
3. 3rd place: I High School in Brodnica – another Brodnica team on the podium.

The winners and all participants were congratulated, on behalf of the Starost, by Dorota Bibik, Member of the Brodnica Poviat Board Jacek Kwas, and Poviat Consumer Ombudsman Kamil Suchocki. The organizers of the event deserve recognition for their efficient organization and creating a wonderful sporting atmosphere.
