National Firefighter Art Contest Resolved in Brodnica

In mid-January 2025, the district eliminations of the National Firefighter Art Contest took place. This year, over 80 works were submitted for the contest, evaluated by a jury.

The award ceremony was held on February 14 at the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Brodnica. Among the attendees were representatives of the organizers and sponsors of the prizes, including the district governor Paweł Szramka and the president of the OSP RP Association - dh Zbigniew Sosnowski.

The contest, organized by the Association of Volunteer Fire Departments of the Republic of Poland, aims to engage children and youth in fire protection topics and develop their artistic skills. This year, many works were awarded in various categories.

In the preschool group, five works were awarded out of eight submitted, and in the primary school grades I-IV, five works were awarded from 41 submitted. In the grades V-VIII group, five winners were recognized from 28 works, and among secondary schools, three out of four submitted works were awarded.

The best works have qualified for the provincial eliminations, marking another step in the competition. Participants showcased their talents and commitment to the firefighter and fire protection themes.
