Holter EKG for ZOZ in Brodnica

On March 12, 2025, a grant agreement was signed between the Brodnica Municipality, represented by Mayor Adam Zalewski and Municipal Treasurer Witold Jastrzębski, and the Health Care Team in Brodnica, represented by Hospital Director Kamil Szulc. Thanks to the funds allocated from the Brodnica Municipality budget for 2025, the Brodnica hospital will acquire a modern device - the Holter EKG.

The Holter EKG method allows for continuous monitoring of the electrical activity of a patient’s heart. It enables the recording of EKG during everyday activities, helping to establish a link between the recordings and the patient's symptoms. This is a non-invasive diagnostic method that also allows for prognosis determination, especially regarding the risk of sudden cardiac death.

The modern Holter EKG can record for up to 30 days and features such characteristics as:

• motion and position detection
• water resistance at IPX6 level
• color display

The software for this model is one of the most advanced, allowing for the analysis of both one-day and multi-day EKG recordings. The effectiveness of QRS detection has been confirmed at a rate of 99.8%.
