Recruitment for Public Kindergartens

The recruitment for public kindergartens is ongoing – applications for the school year 2025/2026 can be submitted until March 28. Three municipal facilities offer a total of 216 places for children starting from September 1.

Municipal Kindergartens

The municipal kindergartens are part of school-kindergarten teams:

• School-Kindergarten Team No. 1 – 3 Maja St. 4, with Kindergarten No. 6 at Batalionów Chłopskich St. 28 with branches at Królowej Jadwigi St. 2 and 3 Maja St. 4;
• School-Kindergarten Team No. 2 – Kolejowa St. 62 with Kindergarten No. 8 at Zielona St. 3 with branches at Kolejowa St. 62;
• School-Kindergarten Team No. 3 – Nowa St. 34, with the Maria Konopnicka Kindergarten at Wyspiańskiego St. 12 with preschool branches and special preschool branches at Wyspiańskiego St. 13.

The lists of children qualified for admission will be made public on April 14. From April 15 to 25, parents must confirm their willingness to enroll their child in kindergarten.

On April 28, the lists of children admitted to the facilities will be announced.

Children are admitted to public kindergartens in Brodnica to free places after conducting the recruitment process. In the first stage, the admission criteria established in Article 131(2) of the Education Law of December 14, 2016 are taken into account.

Recruitment Criteria

1. multiple children in the family of the candidate;
2. disability of the candidate;
3. disability of one of the candidate's parents;
4. disability of both of the candidate's parents;
5. disability of the candidate's siblings;
6. single parenting of the candidate;
7. the candidate being placed in foster care.

The recruitment process is conducted by a committee appointed by the director. Parents whose children were not accepted will receive written information from the Mayor of Brodnica by June 20, 2025, indicating a kindergarten where a place is available.

Candidates living outside the Brodnica area may be accepted if there are still free places after the recruitment process.

The recruitment dates are defined in the Order No. 3/2025 of the Mayor of Brodnica dated January 7, 2025, regarding the schedule of activities in the recruitment process for kindergartens.
