Brodnica County Supports Entrepreneurship

Brodnica, April 2, 2025 - On Monday, March 31, a ceremony was held at the Vocational Activity Establishment to present contracts to entrepreneurs from Brodnica County. Deputy Starost Arkadiusz Orłowski, Chairman of the Brodnica County Council Marek Hildebrandt, and Director of the County Labor Office Anna Szeptuch personally presented contracts for reimbursing the costs of equipping workplaces and financing intervention works.

Reimbursement of Workplace Equipment Costs

Entrepreneurs received financial support for investments in fixed assets, machinery, and equipment. The contracts oblige them to employ workers for a minimum of 24 months. Up to PLN 35,000 was allocated per position (e.g., warehouse worker, construction fitter, green area maintenance coordinator, mechanic, salesperson). Six contracts were signed for a total amount of PLN 280,000, which will allow the creation of 8 new jobs.

Financing of Intervention Works

Assistance under intervention works lasts up to 6 months, with a reimbursement of approximately PLN 2,000 per month for employing an unemployed person. 12 contracts with a total value of PLN 140,440 were awarded.

Cooperation with Entrepreneurs is Key to Development

Arkadiusz Orłowski emphasized that cooperation with entrepreneurs is a priority for the development of the region. The local government actively responds to the needs of local businesses by listening to their voice. The meeting was also attended by Małgorzata Wiśniewska, Marcin Motyliński, Przemysław Górski and Jolanta Szeluga, employees of the County Labor Office in Brodnica.
