Grand Finale of the Easter Palm Competition in Bobrowo

On April 11, 2025, the picturesque Community Center in Małki (Bobrowo municipality) hosted the XXIV Municipal and XXIII County Easter Palm Competition. The event, organized by the Local Action Group "Pojezierze Brodnickie," the Bobrowo Municipality, and the Brodnica County, gathered a large group of residents, representatives of local communities, and local government officials.

Exceptional Palms and Distinguished Jury

This year's edition of the competition attracted a record number of entries. The competition committee, consisting of Dorota Bibik, Anna Szczepaniak, Joanna Godlewska, and Anna Murawska, had the difficult task of evaluating as many as 65 beautiful works. Finally, after heated debates, the winners in each category were selected.

Competition Winners

In the school student work category, the first place was won by the Community Center in Drużyny, the second by the School Complex in Górzno, and the third by the Primary School in Gortatowo, based in Szczuka. Students from the School Complex in Pokrzydowo and primary schools in Nieżywięć and Drużyny were also awarded.

In the category of rural housewives' clubs, the KGW Sołectwa Małki triumphed, the second place went to KGW Gminy Górzno, and the third to KGW Mszano. In addition, ladies from KGW Buk Góralski, KGW Grzybno, KGW Brudzawy, KGW Janówko, and KGW Sumowo received awards.
