Free Mammography Screenings

LUX MED Diagnostyka cordially invites you to free digital mammography screenings as part of the Breast Cancer Prevention Program funded by the National Health Fund (NFZ).

When and Where?

The screenings will take place on April 16, 2025. The mammobus will be stationed at Anna Wazówna Palace, ul. Zamkowa 1 in Brodnica. Screenings are available regardless of your place of residence and do not require a doctor's referral.

Who Can Benefit?

We invite women aged 45 to 74 who meet the following criteria:

every 24 months if they have not previously been diagnosed with a malignant cancerous lesion in the breast;
every 12 months if they have completed breast cancer treatment and a 5-year monitoring process after completing treatment;
every 12 months if, after 5 years from surgical treatment of breast cancer, they remain in adjuvant hormone therapy (HT).

Women covered by the programs "Care for families with a high, hereditarily determined risk of developing breast or ovarian cancer" or "Comprehensive oncological care for beneficiaries with breast cancer" are excluded from the program. When determining age, the year of birth should be taken into account.

Why Is It Worth It?

Mammography is the most sensitive examination in breast cancer prevention.
It allows you to detect changes in the earliest stage of development.
Early detection of cancer is almost completely curable.
The program provides a quick path for supplementary examinations if abnormalities are detected.
