Beware of fake SMS messages!

Residents of Brodnica Municipality are receiving fake SMS messages informing them of alleged tax arrears. The messages contain a bank account number for payment.

Brodnica Municipality warns:

Brodnica Municipality does NOT send SMS messages with information about tax arrears! Please be careful and do not make transfers to the account numbers given in these messages.

What to do if you receive a suspicious SMS message?

If you receive such an SMS message, immediately report the matter to the Police or contact the Brodnica Municipality Office.
