Memorial Mass for Pope Francis in Brodnica

Following the death of the Holy Father Francis, which occurred on Easter Monday, April 21, 2025, at 7:35 AM, the dean of the Brodnica deanery invites all the faithful to join in prayer for his soul.

Pope Francis, who began his pontificate on March 13, 2013, will forever be remembered in the history of the Church as an advocate for the poor, a promoter of interreligious dialogue, and a defender of the Earth.

During his pontificate, the encyclical Laudato Si' and the exhortation Amoris Laetitia were proclaimed, the Roman Curia was reformed, actions were taken to promote Christian unity, and migrants and the excluded were supported.

Holy Mass in Brodnica

The Holy Mass for the late Holy Father Francis will take place on Tuesday, April 22, at 6:30 PM in the parish church of St. Catherine of Alexandria in Brodnica.
