Easter Weekend Summary

During the Easter weekend, police officers from the Brodnica County Police Headquarters increased their activities to ensure the safety of the county's residents. They conducted increased patrols for four days, culminating in "Sober Morning".

Interventions and Road Incidents

Police officers intervened in homes and public places, responding to road incidents. 9 collisions were recorded, but fortunately there were no accidents.

Drunk Drivers

In the Świedziebnia commune, a 35-year-old cyclist from the Rypin district was stopped with nearly 2.5 per mille of alcohol and received a fine of PLN 2500. In the Bartniczka commune, a 33-year-old moped rider was stopped with nearly 2 per mille of alcohol. He committed a crime punishable by up to 3 years in prison.

"Sober Morning" Action

On April 22nd, the "Sober Morning" action was carried out, during which 1295 drivers were checked. Two were driving under the influence of alcohol - one will be held accountable for a crime, the other for an offense.
