III Municipal Biology and Geography Competition: Natural Whirlwind

On April 23, 2025, the III Team Municipal Biology and Geography Competition called "Natural Whirlwind" took place at the Primary School in Gorczenica. It was organized by the Brodnica Municipality and the Primary School in Gorczenica.

Participants and Course of the Competition

18 students from grades VI-VII of primary schools in the Brodnica Municipality participated in the competition. The students were divided into 6 teams of 3 people from each municipal school. They competed as teams, answering multiple-choice questions displayed on an interactive whiteboard using the Plickers application.

Prizes

All participants received diplomas, and the winners of places 1-3 received vouchers for purchases in an electronics store: 1st place - PLN 100, 2nd place - PLN 70, 3rd place - PLN 50. The prizes and refreshments were funded by the Mayor of the Brodnica Municipality, Adam Zalewski.

• 2nd place: Igor Kuciński (SP Gorczenica), Patryk Stachewicz (SP Szabda), Agata Burszta (SP Szczuka)
• 3rd place: Oliwier Małkowski (SP Gorczenica), Ksawery Krajewski (SP Szabda), Lena Żbikowska (SP Szczuka)

Summary

There was a friendly atmosphere during the competition. Students integrated and expanded their biological and geographical knowledge through cooperation in mixed teams.
