Grand Finale of Brodnica Beehouses v2

In mid-April, the grand finale of the second edition of the Brodnica Beehouses v2 project took place at the Vocational and Continuing Education Center in Brodnica, organized as part of the "Released from Theory" Olympiad. This unique initiative combines education, environmental care, and the involvement of young people in the protection of pollinating insects.

Inspiring Event

The finale, which took place on April 14, was full of inspiration, positive emotions, and satisfaction from working together. The project team, consisting of Zuzanna Czupryńska, Jędrzej Pisarek, and Mateusz Brzeziński, presented the impressive results of their work. Their passion and innovative approach showed that young people have a real impact on creating a better future for us all and for nature.

Expert Lecture

The special guest was Dr. habil. Stanisław Czachorowski, professor at the University of Warmia and Mazury. His fascinating lecture on building hotels for pollinating insects highlighted the crucial role of these animals in ecosystems and showed how each of us can help them survive, even in a home garden, on a balcony, or in a school environment.

Competitions and Awards

During the gala, prizes were awarded in the "Pollinator M2 - We Build Shelters" and "With Camera and Brush Among Pollinators" competitions. Teachers who supported students in the implementation of the project were also honored. Their dedication and educational passion are the foundation of the success of this endeavor.
