Literary Contest Resolved!

We are pleased to announce the results of the Literary Contest for the "Golden Pen of the Starosta of Brodnica", organized in the Year of Anna Vasa. The competition committee has selected the best works, inspired by the figure of King Sigismund III Vasa's sister.

Meeting of the Competition Committee

On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, a meeting of the committee was held at the Brodnica County Office, where the winners were selected. The committee consisted of: Piotr Grążawski (chairman), Stanisław Kosakowski, Dorota Bibik, Anna Szczepaniak and Joanna Godlewska (secretary).

Winners

• 1st Prize: Maciej Różyński (CKZiU in Brodnica) for the work "The Last Year"
• 2nd Prize: Oliwia Dembińska (I LO in Brodnica) for the work "Home is Where Your Heart Is"
• 3rd Prize: Julia Wiecierzycka (I LO in Brodnica) for the work "Silence for Internal Suffering"

Distinctions

• Maja Snopek (School Complex in Jabłonowo Pomorskie) for the work "Between the Throne and Passion - the Life of Anna Vasa"
• Amelia Szczechowicz (I LO in Brodnica) for the work "A Trip to the Palace"
• Igor Machalski (I LO in Brodnica) for "Epitaph for Anka"
