International Day of Sport Celebrated at ZSS in Brodnica!

The community of the Special Schools Complex in Brodnica enthusiastically celebrated the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, which falls on April 6th. This date commemorates the start of the first modern Olympic Games in Athens in 1896.

Objectives of the celebration

The celebrations aimed to highlight the role of sport in promoting peace, human rights, and solidarity. The focus was on promoting equality, combating discrimination, improving physical condition, and raising awareness of the needs of people with disabilities.

Sport is Learning!

ZSS students eagerly overcame obstacles on the prepared Olympic track, breaking their own barriers. Each class prepared a poster presenting a selected sport. At the end, Director Anna Słomińska presented everyone with commemorative medals.
