Tragic Summary of the May Weekend on the Roads of Brodnica County

Tragic Accident in Kawki

On Wednesday, April 30, around 6:20 PM on the county road between Kawki and Małki, a road accident occurred. An 18-year-old Skoda driver lost control of the vehicle on a curve, causing the car to overturn. There were five people in the vehicle. A 19-year-old resident of Brodnica County died at the scene.

The preliminary cause of the accident was excessive speed. The driver, who had a driver's license for less than three months, was charged with causing a fatal accident. He faces up to 8 years in prison.

His future will be decided by the court.
