Commune Preschool Creativity Festival Concluded!

On May 6, 2025, the Commune Preschool Creativity Festival - a recitation competition under the slogan "Healthy Preschooler" - took place at the Branch School in Cielęta.

Participants and Commission

As many as 21 children from preschool units of the Brodnica Commune took part in the competition, representing Gortatowo, Cielęta, Mszano, Karbowo, Gorczenica and Szabda. The little artists recited poems in two age categories: 3-5 years old and 6-7 years old.

The competition commission consisted of:

• Joanna Bonawenturska – Director of the Commune Public Library in Szczuka
• Violetta Szulc – employee of the CUS of the Brodnica Commune
• Jolanta Słupkowska – retired Director of the Primary School in Szczuka

The teachers from the Branch School in Cielęta: Paulina Uździńska and Natalia Malinowska, supervised the smooth running of the competition.

Group 3-5 years old:

Group 6-7 years old:

• Szymon Kwiatkowski (Gortatowo)
• Laura Stachurska (Gortatowo)
• Miłosz Lewicki (Cielęta)
• Maria Stybor (Karbowo)
• Lena Prylewska (Gorczenica)

Awards

On behalf of the Mayor of Brodnica Commune, Adam Zalewski, the awards - books and diplomas - were presented to all participants by the Vice-Principal of the School, Krystyna Smętek. Preschool units received commemorative diplomas and a book for participating in the competition. In addition, all participants enjoyed a sweet treat. The awards were funded by the Brodnica Commune.
