Call for Candidates to Competition Committees

We are extending the deadline for applications for members of the competition committees in open call for proposals until December 27, 2024. We encourage non-governmental organizations to actively participate in the work of the committees.

Purpose of the Recruitment

The aim of the recruitment is to create a list of candidates for the committees that will evaluate proposals in open competitions for public task implementation in 2025.

Procedure for Appointing Members

After the announcement of the competition, the Mayor of Brodnica will appoint individuals from the list of candidates. It is important to note that committee members must not represent organizations participating in the competition. Participation in the committee's work is unpaid.

Requirements for Candidates

Candidates for committee members must meet the following criteria:

1. Be citizens of Poland and enjoy full public rights.
2. Not represent organizations participating in the competition.
3. Not be in a legal or factual relationship with the applicants that could raise doubts about impartiality.
4. Not have been employed or linked with the applicant in the year preceding the announcement of the competition.
5. Represent a non-governmental organization or entity in whose governing bodies they serve.

Responsibilities of the Competition Committee

The tasks of the Committee include:

1. Merit-based evaluation of proposals in the open call for proposals.
2. Proposing the allocation of funds among selected proposals.
3. Recommending evaluated proposals to the Mayor of Brodnica.

How to Submit Your Candidacy?

Applications should be submitted on the attached form (signed by the candidate and by persons authorized to submit declarations of intent on behalf of the submitting organization) at the Municipal Office in Brodnica (ul. Kamionka 23, room 101) or sent by mail to this address by December 27, 2024.

Documents should be submitted in an envelope marked: “Application for the candidates’ database for participation in competition committees in open calls for proposals organized by the Mayor of Brodnica in 2025”.
