Accident on National Road 15 in Wielki Głęboczek

Yesterday afternoon (January 21, 2025), a serious incident occurred on National Road 15. At 5:22 PM, the Brodnica police received a report of a collision involving three vehicles in the village of Wielki Głęboczek. Officers were immediately dispatched to the scene to investigate the circumstances of the incident and manage traffic to facilitate travel for motorists.

Preliminary findings indicate that a 46-year-old female driver from Brodnica, while driving her Skoda, stopped to perform a left turn, yielding to oncoming traffic. However, at one point, she unexpectedly proceeded, resulting in a head-on collision with a Toyota Proace, which was carrying six men. After the collision, the Skoda also struck a Peugeot.

One of the men in the Toyota received assistance at the scene and was subsequently transported to the hospital, where he was discharged later that same day with superficial injuries. Consequently, the incident was classified as a collision.

The 46-year-old driver will face charges for causing the collision. Fortunately, all participants were sober.
