Meeting of the Disability Council in Brodnica

On May 6, 2025, a working meeting of the County Social Council for People with Disabilities was held at the County Office in Brodnica. The meeting was attended by the starost Paweł Szramka and members of the council.

During the meeting, key organizational issues were discussed, including methods of communication within the statutory tasks of the council. The meeting was also attended by Marlena Pniewska (director of PCPR in Brodnica), Anna Słomińska (director of the Special Schools Complex in Brodnica), Jerzy Anzel (director of DPS in Brodnica), Izabela Lewandowska (director of CUS Gminy Brodnica) and Marek Tuptyński (head of WTZ).

The County Social Council for People with Disabilities is an advisory body to the starost, operating under the Act on vocational and social rehabilitation. Its tasks include, among others, inspiring integration activities, reviewing programs and resolutions, and evaluating the implementation of initiatives.

The Council's activities have a significant impact on supporting people with disabilities in the Brodnica district.
