Planned Bicycle Path Between Counties

Good news for cycling enthusiasts! On May 20, 2025, a meeting took place in Golub-Dobrzyń regarding the construction of a bicycle path connecting the Golub-Dobrzyń and Brodnica counties.

Meeting Participants

The meeting was attended by representatives of Polish State Railways S.A., led by the Deputy Director for Real Estate Turnover, Mr. Andrzej Włodarski. Representatives of the Golub-Dobrzyń and Brodnica counties, as well as the heads of cities and municipalities located in these areas, including the City of Brodnica, were also present.

Purpose of the Meeting

The main topic was to discuss the possibility of acquiring land from the partially liquidated railway line. Local governments could use this land to build a new bicycle path.

What's Next?

This was the first organizational meeting. The next one is planned after PKP S.A. obtains information about the legal form of land acquisition. All local governments expressed interest in the project and a willingness to cooperate.
