Municipal Sports Competition "Spring Races"

On June 6, 2025, the municipal sports competition "Spring Races" took place at the Janusz Korczak Primary School in Szabda, in which children from grades 1-3 from all over the Brodnica Commune took part.

This year's edition of the competition was not based on rivalry between schools. The team consisted of 10 students (5 boys and 5 girls) from grades 1-3. The students were randomly selected so that each team included children from schools in Szabda, Gorczenica, Gortatowo and Cielęta.

All participants received: diplomas, soccer balls for the school, a sweet treat, packages of sweets and water.

The prizes were funded by the Mayor of Brodnica Commune - Adam Zalewski.
