Drunk driver arrested in Michałki

Górzno, June 11, 2025 - Police officers from Górzno have arrested a drunk driver who was transporting his family. The incident occurred yesterday, June 10, at approximately 7:00 PM in Michałki.

District officers from the Police Station in Górzno stopped a VW passenger car for a road check, which was carrying a family of four, including two small children. The driver turned out to be a 38-year-old resident of the Rypin district.

The breathalyzer test revealed that the man had over 3 per mille of alcohol in his body. In addition, it turned out that he did not have a license to drive motor vehicles, and the vehicle did not have a valid technical inspection.

The man faces up to 3 years in prison. The police secured the vehicle to cover the future penalty and confiscated the registration certificate.
