Personnel Changes in the Brodnica County Council

On Wednesday, June 11, 2025, the 16th session of the Brodnica County Council took place at the Vocational Activity Establishment at ul. Kamionka 24. During the session, councilors adopted key resolutions regarding changes in the composition of the council, its standing committees, and the Brodnica County Board, following the expiration of the mandate of councilor Piotr Mazur, who passed away in May.

Session Overview

The session began with the swearing-in of the new councilor, Piotr Śliwowski, who took office. Subsequently, Piotr Grążawski resigned from his position as vice-chairman of the Brodnica County Council. In a secret ballot, Piotr Śliwowski was elected to this position, gaining the support of 15 councilors, with 3 votes against and 1 abstention.

Supplementing the County Board

The composition of the Brodnica County Board has been supplemented. Starosta Paweł Szramka recommended councilor Piotr Grążawski. In a secret ballot, the candidacy was supported by 16 councilors, with 3 against.

Changes in Standing Committees

The council also adopted resolutions regarding changes in three standing committees. Michał Straus became Chairman of the Education, Culture, Sports, and Tourism Committee, replacing Piotr Grążawski. The composition of the committee remained unchanged. Piotr Śliwowski joined the Budget, Property, and Economic Development Committee and the Rural Area Development and Environmental Protection Committee.

During the 16th session, councilors made significant changes in the council presidium and supplemented the composition of the Brodnica County Board.
