We invite you to the Julia Galea's exhibition!

The Municipal and District Public Library in Brodnica cordially invites you to a unique exhibition of works by Brodnica artist, Julia Galea, entitled 'Journey through the Planets of "The Little Prince"'.

Inspiration by Literary Work

The exhibition, presented as part of the library's 'Gallery of 12 Easels' in Anna Wazówna's Palace, is inspired by the timeless story of Antoine de Saint-Exupery's 'The Little Prince'. The paintings show the most important characters and events from the book, including the Little Prince, the Rose, the Fox, the Lamplighter and the King, conveying deep truths about friendship, love, responsibility and loneliness.

First Painting and Collection

The first painting in the series was 'The Little Prince - my interpretation', an oil painting with gilding, which was first presented at the 3rd Charity Ball of the da Vinci Institute Foundation. The exhibition also includes the paintings 'Asteroid B-612', 'Planet 325' and 'The Little Traveler's Collection' consisting of eight paintings.

The exhibition will be available from June 24 to July 30 during library opening hours. It is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the magical world of 'The Little Prince' and discover it anew.
