Mayor of Brodnica Commended for Budget Execution!

During the Brodnica City Council session, held on June 26, 2025, the Mayor of Brodnica, Jarosław Radacz, received a discharge from the councilors for the proper execution of the 2024 budget. This decision is a recognition of the effective management of the city's finances.

Vote of Confidence for the Mayor

The City Council positively assessed the Report on the State of the Brodnica Municipality for 2024, granting Mayor Radacz a vote of confidence. The resolution to grant discharge was passed with a record number of 17 votes in favor, with only two abstentions. Two councilors were absent.

Details of Budget Implementation

The Audit Committee, after reviewing the Mayor's report, emphasized that the budget was implemented properly. The income plan was implemented at 94.96%, and the expenditure plan at 91.43%. The budget deficit was lower than planned, which is the result of economical and purposeful spending of public funds and the start of important investments, such as "Cyber-secure self-government," "(BCUS)," "LIFE EUCF," the construction of a sports hall at Elementary School No. 4, the construction of an ice rink in the OSiR area, and the renovation of the sports field at ZS No. 1.
