Police ensured the safety of students during the end of the school year and the start of holidays

Brodnica police officers conducted a series of activities aimed at ensuring the safety of children and youth in connection with the end of the school year and the start of the holidays.

"Sober Morning" Operation

On Thursday, June 26, from early morning hours, police officers conducted the "Sober Morning" operation. The sobriety of 954 drivers was checked, and no cases of driving under the influence of alcohol were found.

"Speed" Operation

On Friday, June 27, on the day of the end of the school year, the "Speed" operation was carried out. Officers checked the speed of vehicles in the vicinity of schools and pedestrian crossings. 96 vehicles were checked and 80 violations related to speeding were revealed.

Safety in public places

Police officers patrolled city parks, the city beach, and water areas of the Brodnica district, ensuring the safety of people staying there. A service dog and a police boat were used.
