Police officers from the District Police Headquarters in Brodnica are patrolling waterways using flat-bottomed boats. Their goal is to ensure the safety of people resting both on the water and on land.

Patrols on the Lakes

From late morning, police officers, using a service boat, conduct patrols on the numerous lakes in the Brodnica district. They check anglers' permits, motorboat helmsman's licenses, and the sobriety of people using kayaks, pedal boats, and sailboats. Consuming alcohol before entering the water is punishable by a fine.

Supervision of Safety in Waterside Areas
