Family Picnic in Opalenica - great fun!

On July 5, 2025, thanks to the Village Council and the Village Leader of Opalenica, a wonderful family picnic took place. The event was financed from the Brodnica Commune budget under the Village Fund.

Purpose of the Event

The main goal of the picnic was to support culture and recreation in the Opalenica village. The organizers wanted to encourage families to spend time together and to integrate residents of different generations.

Picnic Attractions

The picnic began with a bonfire. Two inflatable castles were prepared for the children. Parents and children willingly participated in games and activities such as tag, color games, and hide-and-seek.

OSP Szczuka Support

The event was graced by the presence of OSP Szczuka (Volunteer Fire Department). Children had the opportunity to try spraying water from a fire hose and sit behind the wheel of a fire truck.

Refreshments and Attendance

The residents of Opalenica prepared delicious refreshments: cakes, sweet buns, croissants, homemade lard, pickled cucumbers, and fruits. Ice cream was purchased for the children. Approximately 100 people participated in the picnic.
