Driver of Defective Vehicle Arrested in Brodnica - Faces Imprisonment

Brodnica, July 9, 2025 - Police officers in Brodnica arrested a 40-year-old resident who was driving a defective Mercedes and was banned from driving. The man also had psychoactive substances with him.

The arrest took place on Sunday evening (July 6) when a patrol noticed a vehicle without license plate lighting. During the inspection, the driver behaved nervously, and a jar of amphetamine was found in his luggage.

The man was charged with possession of psychotropic substances and violating the driving ban. He faces up to 5 years in prison and a lifetime driving ban.
