Graduation Ceremony with Roses at I LO in Brodnica

On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, the traditional graduation ceremony with roses took place at the I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Filomatów Ziemi Michałowskiej in Brodnica. Graduates received their high school diplomas, congratulations, and were decorated with roses by younger students.

Location and Attendees

The ceremony was held in the sports hall of ILO at ul. Lidzbarska. Guests included representatives of the management, teachers, families of graduates, parliamentarians, local government officials, representatives of Brodnica and district institutions, the 4th Brodnica Chemical Regiment, the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service, and the clergy. A special guest was the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Deputy Superintendent of Education, Joanna Rek.

Awards and Recognition

Joanna Rek presented the superintendent's award to this year's graduates. Brodnica County was represented by the starosta Paweł Szramka and other representatives of the county authorities. There were also school patrons, including Jan Traczyk, a musical actor, who was honored with the title "Friend of the School."

Adam Królikowski achieved the highest average among graduates (5.53) and received the award of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Superintendent of Education and the award of Prof. Dr. Hab. Tadeusz Kaczorek.

Summary

The ceremony was an opportunity to honor the best graduates and thank the people supporting the school. Graduates, in addition to diplomas and awards, took with them memories and friendships.
