Fugitive Arrested by Police in Brodnica

Police officers from Brodnica have arrested a 40-year-old man who was wanted under an arrest warrant. The arrest was made possible thanks to the officers' findings and cooperation with the Border Guard.

Yesterday, July 10th, police officers from Brodnica went to the airport in Warsaw, where they arrested the wanted 40-year-old, a resident of Brodnica. The man was wanted to serve a 6-month prison sentence for failing to fulfill his alimony obligations.

Cooperation and Arrest

Thanks to effective cooperation with the Border Guard, the man was arrested immediately after arriving in Poland. After completing the necessary procedures at the police station, he was transported to prison to serve his sentence.

Police Appeal

The police remind that evading alimony obligations leads to an entry in the National Debtors Register and may result in criminal penalties, including imprisonment.
