Thank You for Your Service

August 15th is Polish Army Day, a particularly important day for all soldiers. It is an opportunity to honor their dedication, courage, and loyalty to values such as freedom and independence. Together, we cultivate patriotism and remembrance of our country's history.

This Year's Celebrations

In 2025, Polish Army Day is held under the slogan "Thank You for Your Service." This is an expression of gratitude to the soldiers and employees of the Polish Army for their dedication and daily service for the security of Poland. The highlight of the celebrations will be a military parade in Warsaw and a naval parade in Hel, scheduled for August 15th. The Ministry of National Defense encourages active participation in the celebrations.

Greetings from Brodnica

Representatives of the Board and Council of Brodnica County, starosta Paweł Szramka, deputy starosta Arkadiusz Orłowski, and council chairman Marek Hildebrandt, sent Commander of the 4th Brodnica Chemical Regiment, Col. Jarosław Żochowski, wishes for success and job satisfaction for all soldiers and employees. They emphasized that August 15, the anniversary of the victorious Battle of Warsaw in 1920, is a cause for pride. This battle saved Poland and stopped the expansion of the Bolshevik revolution to the West.

Remembering the Heroes

Local government officials from Brodnica noted that remembering those events is our duty, especially because the residents of Brodnica County also fought and sacrificed themselves for victory in 1920.
