Fall Prevention Program for Seniors - Brodnica 2025

The Municipality of Brodnica cordially invites people over 60 years of age, residing in Brodnica, to participate in the seventh edition of the "Fall Prevention Program for Seniors in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship". This program is implemented in cooperation with the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship and coordinated by the Bydgoszcz Regional Center for Sports Medicine Sportvita.

What do we offer?

• Free, specially selected physical exercises in groups, led by trained trainers.
• Classes will be held three times a week for 45 minutes, from September to December this year.
• Qualifying tests before the start of classes: medical examination, physical fitness assessment, self-assessment questionnaire of health and life satisfaction.
• Educational meetings on avoiding dangerous situations at home and in public transport, and on the role of movement and diet in maintaining fitness.

Why is it worth it?

Falls are a common problem among older people. This program aims to reduce the risk of falls and improve the quality of life for seniors. Statistics show that every year one in four older people experiences a fall, which can lead to serious consequences.

Registration starts on August 26, 2025.
