Bicycle Thief Arrested in Brodnica!

Criminal investigators in Brodnica have arrested a 46-year-old man suspected of stealing four bicycles from the city streets. The thief faces up to 5 years in prison.

The case began on Thursday, August 21st, when a victim reported a stolen bicycle to the Brodnica District Police Headquarters. The next day, another resident made a similar report. After receiving the reports, the police secured recordings from city and private property surveillance, which allowed them to identify the perpetrator.

On Monday, August 26th, in the morning hours, the detectives arrested the 46-year-old at his residence and transported him to jail.

After analyzing the collected materials, the police determined that the arrested man was responsible for more bicycle thefts in Brodnica. The man has been charged with the theft of four bicycles with a total value of nearly 20,000 PLN.
