Police Actions for Pedestrian Safety

On September 3, 2025, a summary of the Brodnica police's actions under the name "Vulnerable Road Users" was published. The aim of the operation, carried out on September 1, 2025, was to improve the safety of pedestrians and eliminate dangerous behavior by drivers and other road users.

Control and Detected Offenses

Police paid particular attention to speeding in the vicinity of pedestrian crossings and the way people on electric scooters move on sidewalks. During the all-day operation, a total of 41 offenses were detected. The most frequently committed offense was speeding in the area of pedestrian crossings, as well as failing to give way to pedestrians and non-compliance with speed limits by people using electric scooters.
