'Safe Route to School' a Priority for Police in Brodnica

Brodnica police have intensified activities under the educational and preventive campaign 'Safe Route to School,' aimed at increasing the safety of pedestrians and other unprotected road users.

Talk at the Primary School in Drużyny

Officers from the Brodnica police station visited the Primary School in Drużyny, where they conducted a talk with students about road safety. The aim of the meeting was to ensure the safety of the youngest, who have started the school year. The police officers discussed the rules for safe use of pedestrian crossings and walking on the shoulder, reminding them of the need to know the traffic regulations.

Safety on Electric Scooters

District officers presented the children with the rules for moving around on electric scooters and how to take care of their safety when using this means of transport.

Appeal to Adults

The 'Safe Route to School' campaign is also aimed at parents, guardians, and teachers. The police remind parents of the need to transport children in car seats and drop them off on the sidewalk side. It also appeals to equip children with reflective elements, increasing their visibility, especially on autumn days.
