Brodnica Civic Budget 2026: Decide How to Spend the Money!

We invite all residents of Brodnica to participate in the voting within the Civic Budget for 2026! You decide which projects will be implemented in our city.

Projects from the local pool:

Stare Miasto District

• City Water Fountain in the Main Market Square: Publicly accessible source of clean drinking water for residents with an aesthetic surrounding area.
• Beautiful Isthmus – Old Town: Greening the area with flower pots and planting vegetation.

Matejki I District

• Development of Greenery in the Branch of Kochanowskiego Street: Tidying up the area and planting shrubs and ornamental plants.

Wyspiańskiego District

• Active Pedestrian Crossing on Wyspiańskiego Street: Illuminating the crossing with dedicated LED lamps and using fluorescent signs at the Polish Post Office.
• Safe Crossing on Wyspiańskiego Street: Installation of illuminating lamps, active road signs, and renewal of crossing markings at block number 19 and commercial pavilions.

Morskie Oko District

• Safe Step – Crossing on Graniczna Street: Installation of illuminating lamps, active road signs, and renewal of crossing markings.

Gdynia District

• Brodnica Science Corner in the Gdynia District: Purchase and installation of a water vortex and other scientific devices near the book-sharing point.
• Flower Haven – Gdynia District: Creating a space for bees and other pollinators by planting honey-bearing plants and installing insect houses.

Nowa Kolonia District

• Outdoor District Gym: Opening an outdoor gym with various equipment.

Mieszka I District

• Information Corner at Mieszka I Street: Placing a notice board with local information.

Grunwald District

• Summer Screenings in Grunwald: Organizing free open-air film screenings in the summer.

Ustronie District

• Equipping the Playground at Truskawkowa Street: Purchasing and installing new playground equipment.

Michałowo District

• Family Festival “Michałowo 2026”: Integration meeting for all residents planned for August 2026.

Grażyny District

• Cisowa and Wierzbowa Streets in Greenery – Revitalizing the Space: Tidying up the area, planting shrubs and ornamental plants, installing a bench and a trash can.

Projects from the city-wide pool:

• Brodnica Rally of Vintage Vehicles: Exhibition of vintage cars, buses, and motorcycles (last Sunday of May each year).
• Midsummer Night with a Star: Concert of a star during Midsummer Night in Brodnica against the backdrop of the Teutonic castle tower.

How to Vote?

Voting lasts from September 16 to September 30. You can vote:

• Drop the ballot into the ballot box in the hall of the Brodnica City Hall.
• By mail to the Brodnica City Hall, ul. Kamionka 23, with the note "Voting – Civic Budget for 2026".
• Electronically, by sending a scan of the card to [email protected] or via ePUAP, entering the message "Voting – Civic Budget for 2026" in the subject.

The results will be announced by October 30. Project implementation will begin in 2026.
