Police Conduct "Speed" Operation in Brodnica County

Yesterday, September 18th, Brodnica police conducted an operation called "Speed", as part of ROADPOL Safety Days 2025. This action, coordinated by the European Road Policing Network ROADPOL, aimed to improve road safety in Brodnica County.

From morning to evening, officers monitored vehicle speeds, especially in built-up areas where speeding poses a significant threat. The goal was to enforce compliance with regulations and reduce the number of accidents caused by excessive speed.

During the operation, 123 cases of speeding were detected. The police appeal to drivers for prudence and to adjust their speed to road conditions, reminding them that excessive speed is still one of the main causes of tragic accidents.
