Autumn mushroom picking in Kuyavia-Pomerania!

Autumn is the perfect time for mushroom picking! On September 27, 2025 at 9:00 AM, the second edition of the joint mushroom picking event "Let's go mushrooming" will take place.

Where?

This year, the event will be held in as many as 19 locations, in every district of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. The mushroom picking event is under the Honorary Patronage of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivode Michał Sztybel and the Director of the Regional Directorate of State Forests in Toruń Włodzimierz Pamfil.

• Learning the secrets of the forest with foresters and forest guards.
• Free advice from mycologists and classifiers.

What to remember?

• Adjust your clothing to the weather and terrain conditions (long pants!).
• Use repellents against ticks and mosquitoes.
• Collect mushrooms only in airy baskets.
• Collect only the mushrooms you know.
• Cover the holes after the mushrooms.
• Avoid picking young and old mushrooms.
